Prompt: September 11 changed many aspects of American life, even though your generation was born afterward. Think about a major event that has happened during your own lifetime, such as the COVID-19 pandemic or another event that affected your community or the country. How do you think your experience with that event helps you understand what it might have been like for Americans to experience the uncertainty and change following 9/11? Explain the connection

9/11 caused a huge change in people's lives, security was increased, a lot of lives were lost, it was a devastating tragedy. Throughout our life we will experience events like these that can leave us forever changed. One of these events was COVID in 2020. COVID caused a huge change in routine and left many people separated to the ones they love. The uncertainty of when it was going and the health security measures forever changed our routine. Some people still feel like time sped up or that the world wasn't the same since COVID.

Summary: Today we took a test on the story " A Rose for Emily". It took the whole class period and we completed this blog post once we were done.

Reflection: 9/11 was a horrible tragedy and I give my condolences to all of the family members who lost their love ones. I went to the museum in New York and it genuinely crushed my heart, one of the quietest museums I've ever been to.
